This week's Jum'ah was a beautiful display of solidarity and an example of the common thread of humanity that weaves us all together. We were honored to have Dr. Rosemary Banks (New Zealand's Ambassador to the U.S.), Supervisor Jeff McKay, the Chiefs of the Fairfax and Franconia fire departments, congregants from Olam Tikvah, and members from the Alexandria Harmonizers join us for Friday prayers in remembrance of those who tragically lost their lives doing the same last week in Christchurch, NZ. May we continue to support each other not only in the wake of tragedy but also in moments of happiness and in the day to day.
