MakeSpace is on the verge of a significant milestone – we are in the process of moving into a larger space to meet the growing needs of our community. Currently operating out of our headquarters, which we’ve outgrown, we are thrilled to share that the new space, spanning over 6000 square feet and located just down the street from our current location, will enable us to expand our programs significantly.
We are proud to announce that thanks to supporters like you, we have raised over $300,000 towards our $1 million fundraising goal for basic renovations and loan repayment. Your generosity has been instrumental in making this dream a reality.

To transform this building into a fully functional community space, we need to come together once again to raise the necessary funds for renovation and loan repayment. - Purchase price of the new building: $2.2 million
- Initial renovation costs: $200,000
- Our Collective Savings and Efforts:
- Over the years, we’ve saved $809,000
- We’ve made a substantial down payment of $550,000 on the new building.
- We’ve secured a loan of $1,650,000 to cover the remaining purchase price.
- Our monthly mortgage payments is $11,800
- Next Steps and Goals:
- Sale of our Current HQ will contribute an additional $500,000.
- Total Fundraising Goal: Raise $1,000,000 by the end of the year.
